Walking to a Job Interview

I went on a job interview in Wilmington, MA the other day. It's not reachable by T nor do I have a car to drive there. So, I had to take a bus, a subway train, a real train, AND a two-and-a-half mile walk to get there. Here's what happened. Enjoy.Yeah, look at all those cabs here at Ballardvale train station. This looks like the location photo for every script that has the phrase "... and then they found the body in a shallow grave..."oh, hello OPEN OFFICE AREA with NO SECRETARY and an dozen cubicles of potential new coworkers staring mouths agape at a red, sweaty, out of breath stranger."Uh, are you okay? Can I help you?""Yeah, fine. I just walked here.""From the parking lot.""*exhale* … yes... the parking lot. Bathroom? Thanks"Crap! I hope they didn't realize I forgot to change my shoes. Time to walk back to the train station. How is this uphill BOTH WAYS?! Is this the road my father took to school when he was a kid? Can't be, it's not snowing.Okay, maybe this walk wasn't all bad. There's my current work. Not the porta-potty but might as well be.Well, home again home again jiggity jig. I made it to my place by 2:30pm, my cellphone battery made it to Kenmore Station. No telling if I got the job or not, we'll find out soon. I think the interview went well, I can't be sure. I do know they found my funny, which I don't know is a good thing or not.
