Word of the Day with Rachel Rothenberg
Here to help us expand our vocabulary is comedian and fashionista, Rachel Rothenberg. Rachel is paradoxically a raunchy comedienne from the clean comedy capital of Salt Lake City, UT, now residing in New York. When live comedy was possible and sane, she produced a series of all-broad standup shows called "Dumbbroads" at Wiseguys Comedy Club in SLC. When COVID-19 stopped the world from turning, Rachel started The PandeMic!, a twice-weekly online comedy open mic. She would later be co-creator of Buxom & Bawdy’s Oh My Bawd! She's currently navigating the NYC comedy scene and hosting trivia nights throughout the city.

Today’s word of the day is “stola“, which is a long draped robe similar to the Greek chiton worn by women of ancient Rome.
Did you know: The Roman stola resembles the Greek chiton. It is a long, full robe, generally sleeveless, that hangs nearly to the feet and is girdled around the waist. It falls in either folds or pleats from the shoulders to the girdle, then from the girdle to the floor. It was worn by women, especially matrons, of ancient Rome.
