Here to help us expand our vocabulary is comedian, improviser, and mother, A.J. Hapenny. AJ is a Funny4Funds branch owner and founder of Paperback Comedy, which created a thriving scene in Cape Cod, MA.
As a Wedding Officiant & Emcee, AJ has performed for 25+ weddings and has been featured in 'Engaged Magazine.' He takes time to meet with couples and creates a customized ceremony speech unique to the engaged couple.
With 100,000 social media followers, his act has made him a talent that is frequently requested to perform all over the Northeast. He has performed alongside great acts such as Jim Breuer, Jeff Ross, and Lenny Clarke.

Today’s word of the day is “ziggurat“, which is an ancient Mesopotamian temple tower consisting of a lofty pyramidal structure built in successive stages with outside staircases and a shrine at the top.
Did you know: French professor of archaeology Francois Lenormant spent a great deal of time poring over ancient Assyrian texts. In those cuneiform inscriptions, he recognized a new language, now known as Akkadian, which proved valuable to the understanding of the ancient civilization. Through his studies, he became familiar with the Akkadian word for the towering temples: ziqqurratu, which was translated into English as ziggurat.
